D.J. at age 27 resides in Shevlin, Minn. This season he is racing in the USCC circuit which tours all over Minn. He got started in racing when he was
around the Dyrdahl family, "They always raced so I bought a sled and tried it once and never quite.” He says that being a cross country racer is
neither hard nor easy, it’s just fun! If D.J. were not a cross country racer, he claims he would be an astronaut.  His favorite place to ride outside the
racing scene is in the mountains or with his friends.
