NEW YORK - GRAFTON

Yooo people!

Well it was quite a trip these last couple weeks to get a couple races in, but
we finally got 'em. The first week was to New York, which turned out to be a
hectic traveling... we flew out of Fargo to Chicago, landed in Chicago and
found out the race was cancelled... flew back to Fargo, when we got over
Fargo we had to turn around in the air because they couldn't land due to
fog. We ended up having to stay in Chicago for the night and tried to fly to
Fargo in the morning. We had to turn in the air and land in the cities because
we still couldn't land in Fargo!! We stayed in the cities for a while and finally
ended up landing in Fargo and getting home. So that weekend kind of
sucked with the travel but it was still fun to hang with everyone and gave
us something to do.

Pontiac went awesome. I crashed in practice and slide around on the concrete
in the wall, which was fun... not. In the first round I had last pick so I was the
farthest outside, came out of the corner in about last or second to last,
ended up working my way to 4th which was ok. In the second moto I got a good
start and lead for a little bit, but got passed by Tucker and rode to a 2nd in
round 2. With a 4-2 I had 6 points and quailfyed 7th for the final. It was really nice
to make it straight to the final and in the front row, makes life a lot easier. Being
I was 7th I started middle outside which was not an ideal starting spot because of
the way of the first corner but I knew what I had to do and when the light turned
green I put my head down and pinned it hoping not to get pushed off. When we
came around the corner and started down the rythum section I was behind Tucker
in about 6th. I followed Tucker and start picking off some of the other riders and
was running third for most of the race. I thought I was 4th or 5th, it was tough for
anyone to know becuase there were a lot of crashes. With two laps to go, Tucker
had an off in one of the corners and I got by him before he got going again. I knew
he was going to get going again and going fast so I put my head down and gave it
all I had the last 2 laps to keep in front of him, and well it paid off, I finished with a
solid second place! I was pumped with that for many reasons, the mehcanics had
been stuck out east for so long it was good to bring the mood up in the team, have
good momentem going into the rest of the year, good confidence boost. It was my
second race at 100 percent healthy so I now know I got what it takes and got to
keep pushing to try get that top spot!

I can't thank my dad, Halvy, Drew, mom, Betsy, Ethan, Cory, and Garth enough
it was a big team effort.

After Pontiac, we flew back Saturday morning and Cory and I headed to grafton
after we landed. The grafton race did not go as good as pontiac but was still really
fun. It was good for CBR to have DJ sweep both pro classes. Ryan, Cory and I had
some problems on the track which was a bummer, but everyone walked away from
the weekend and thats pretty important too.

Well thats it from me for now!

SWEDEN - CURRENT
Hey everyone, kind of been slacking on the updates. I was trying to figure out
the video way to do this but couldn't... So I'll start with the trip to Sweden. We
flew out and missed our flight from Chicago to Stalkholm and had to sit in Chicago
for 6 hours waiting for out flight to Copenhagen, than to Stalkholm, than finally to
Ostersund. We stayed at a Hotel in Ostersund wich was a really nice hotel. Justin,
my Dad and I worked out of Bengan's shop all week up to the race. The race
was on a Thursday evening in a Soccer Feild, kind of like Salt Lake City but not
fully enclosed. The track was pretty small and tight, we had about 25 second lap
times. In the first heat I got off to a good start but going through the rythum section
I got landed on from the side and screwed up my knee a little so that kind of wrecked
the mood for the rest of the night. I made it to the semi final, I got a bad start and
the race was really short so I did not make up enough positions and had to go to the LCQ.
In the LCQ I was running 2nd which is what I needed to qualify for the main. With a lap
and a half left I came into a corner with a double in it the middle of it, as I was going up
the face another racer hit my sled and the next thing I knew i was flying through the air
and my sled was going the other way. So I did not make the final, which I was really bummed
about becasue I know I could of been up with the top guys giving them a run, but thats racing.

We flew back on Friday to Fargo. Once we landed, we drove straight to Detriot Lakes.
Regestered Friday night, woke up saturday morning and went racing my first ever ice race ever.
It was 100 miles saturday and 100 miles sunday. The races were combined through out the
weekend for the overall. After Saturday I was sitting in 7th place out of about 20 some riders.
The race was so fun, especially because my dad came out of retirement and raced in the legends
and master class! It was awesome seeing him all suited up and out on the track ripping! It brought
back good memories and reminded me why I love racing sleds so much. The next day we took
off in the order we finish the first day. At the end of the weekendIi ended up 5th in the pro stock,
which is the best I have ever done in a cross country race. So it was a good way to end the
weekend, especially after the trip to SWeden and how the racing went over there.

Ive been riding a good amount and feel confident and ready to race back on the ISOC seires
this coming weekend in Pontiac.

Hey peoples,

So some of ya may have already saw or heard I'm racing in Sweden
in a couple weekends! I'm so pumped to be headed over there. We
went to Finland last year for the World Championship race and that was
really fun so im expecting the same this time. It is my dad, Justin and
myself going. We are leaving on Saturday and the race is on Thursday.
That will give us enough time to go through the sled and practice a little.

The event itself seems really sick! They have about 10 other things going
on like skiing, thai boxing, and luge, plus alot more and snocross. It seems
like the Swedish X-games!

I have to thank Bengan for everything and Dad, Halvy, and Hector. It is going
to be a trip of a life time and am more excited than anything. We have
done a lot of practice and testing for this race so I think I can speak for everyone
when i saw we are ready and more than excited for this.

Follow me on twitter @43LChristian or like me on facebook Logan Christian 443
and of course like Christian Brothers Racing for all the updates on us when
we are there! I'll make sure to update a lot!!

Thanks everyone!

Logan Christian Set to Race in Canterbury this Weekend

Quick note from Logan pre-Canterbury

Hey everyone! Nice to finally see some white stuff on the ground, huh! Maybe we'll finally have
our first cross country race!

Just a little update here, I started riding last Friday and kind of eased into it... it felt good to
ride and be done with the two-a-days in the gym! It was my first time riding since Duluth and
my knee felt AWESOME! I've been riding since and have been able to get some good testing
done with my mechanic, Halvy.

Knees good, sleds good, and the rest of me is ready to rip!

Excited to see everyone this weekend in Canterbury!

Logan out!
