With just days until another Snocrss season begins, everyone at CBR has
blood fueling with anticipation. With temps hovering in the teens at night, a
stellar track has been born. The riders have been shredding it up aligning
themselves with their sleds. Hours have been filled with the mechanics tweaking
and changing sled set-ups. To say the team is stoked, would be an understatement.
Here's what they have to say:
"We [CBR] have been riding and training everyday it has been amazing! The whole
team is really working hard this year and just putting hours in on the sleds to get race
ready. I would like to see myself on the podium in Duluth for sure! I feel good and can
put myself there if I ride the way I know I can. This is the most ready I have been
before Duluth. The team [CBR] has worked really hard to allow us to ride early season
and I think it’s going to pay off come race day! The best part about Duluth is it’s the
first race of the season and it kind of sets the bar on how the season will end. I think
a lot of people will be excited about the new ISOC format and be ready to go on the
green flag!" - Brett Turcotte #16
"To prepare for Duluth I’ve been setting up sleds for Brett so we have a good fit with
ultimate control. What do I want to accomplish, well pretty much to see how we compete
with the other race teams/ brands;
and hopefully coming out on top! We’ll accomplish
that by showing up with talent and good machines. The best part about Duluth is definitely
the smell of race fuel in the morning. And of course it’s the first race and everyone is
pumped" -Nathan McConnell
"To prepare for Duluth I am trying to get my suspension dialed in and working on some
clutching; mainly just getting comfortable on my sled. My workout plan has not changed
except that we have been riding a lot in Fertile at our practice track so some days I tame
down my cardio workout. I am looking to make both pro finals and finish at the front of the
pack this weekend. I will accomplish this by giving it 100 percent the whole time I am on
the track. The best part about Duluth is all the fans that come out and to watch and the
fireworks!" - Matt Piche #51
"To Prepare for Duluth, I’m training everyday focusing on my riding style and becoming a better
rider. At Duluth I would like to stand on top of the podium, ride as hard and safe as I can, and
have a lot of fun. For this last week before Duluth make sure I train but take a couple days off
before so I am revived and ready for the big race. Then come race day stay focused, ride my
hardest but be safe, and not ride over my head. Best part about Duluth would have to be, all
the fans, and since it’s the first race you get rid of all your first race gitters. Im soooo excited
for this weekend!!" - Carly Davis #905
