CHRISTIAN BROS. RACING along with Avalanche Racing were honored the “Team Sportsmanship Award.” This award is given to the teams that have
promoted the sport throughout the season.
With another season passed a lot has happened here at CHRISTIAN BROS. RACING! The season started out great in Duluth with everyone running in
top positions. In Hill City, Minn. at the MN Regional race January 5-6.2007 Logan had a bit of a crash ending up breaking his knee cap which ended
his season early. He is recovering great and looking forward to next season! The season moved on taking everyone to Shakopee, Minn. for the Air force Canterbury National. CBR partnered up with KFC and Arctic Cat to give someone in the crowd a trip of a life time. The trip was for one lucky race fan
and a friend to fly to Las Vegas and see the NASCAR UAW Dodge 400 in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 2, 2008. Mike Ness of Fertile, Minn. was the lucky
winner! Winter X was just around the corner with the whole team qualifying to compete [Matt Piche #51, D.J. Eke #52, and Wes Selby #155]. With a
few difficulties the results did not quite turn out the way CBR hoped. March 8-9 held the Brainerd International Raceway race. On Friday in the Semi-Pro
Stock qualifying Wes had a crash resulting in a broken pelvis and hand. Coming into this race he was ranked 3rd in the Semi-Pro Stock class and 7th
in
the Semi-Pro Open. This obviously ended his season, yet he was still able to stay in the top ten in the Semi-Pro Stock class. With D.J. running cross
country this left only Matt Piche and Karl Christian being able to run the rest of the season. Matt was able to end on a very successful note in Lake Geneva.
This was his first season as a full time Pro, he was able to pull off a great podium in Lake Geneva finishing 3rd in the Pro Stock class. At the awards
banquet he was also awarded the “Pro Rising Star” Award. Karl also had a great end to the season, finishing 2nd in the Pro Plus 35 class. He also pulled
off a podium at Lake Geneva taking a great 2nd. Click here for final point standings.
